You may wonder why thecolonics board is made out of wood while all the others on the market are made out of molded plastic? The wooden colonics board is used because the professional tubing packs that are included in the kit prevent the board from ever getting wet. This tubing carries the waste and waste water straight from the speculum directly into the toilet. The end of the tubing is inserted through the hole in the colonics board thereby allowing everything to drain into the toilet.

The older molded plastic models were required when the waste and waste water were allowed to flow out openly onto the board causing a very unsanitary, smelly, and unsightly mess.
