Subject: suggested height of tank
Hello! I'm a colon therapist with 13 years' experience, and I am all in favor of self-responsibility for cleansing.
Just one comment about your (excellent!) web page.
The general rule for water pressure is 1/2 pound of pressure per foot above the body. Therefore, a maximum height of 2-3 feet giving 1-1 1/2 pounds pressure on water entering the colon is PLENTY! The colema board people suggest 4 ft, which would give 2 pounds of pressure, and in my professional opinion that's too much. The little valves and circular muscle in the colon are already strained to the max with a large overload of waste. If the water goes in too fast, the organ will tend to react by shutting down sometimes complete with cramps and discomfort. I prefer to let the water trickle in so that the colon will accept more of it at a time. The old nurse's adage, "High, hot, a hell of a lot," is just not appropriate for colon therapy where the aim is not to get done quick but to thoroughly cleanse the vital organ.
Very best wishes

Subject: Gravity
Yes, indeed, I agree wholeheartedly about the gravity type. I use a Colon-a-Sun which is a gravity system using a 1/4" semi-flexible tip and a plumbed bowl. I prefer it over all others I've used (Dierker, Lotus, Hydro-San, Toxygen) for a large number of reasons.
I'd love to be listed as a professional in your web page. A lot of people don't feel comfortable doing their own, although that is the goal eventually. But even if they are doing it at home, they may feel the need for a professional colonic at times. I don't feel there's a conflict, and always try to get them to at least start to take responsibility themselves.
I am Nancy Adams, Ph.D., in West Palm Beach, Florida. People can call me for a ppointments at 561-655-4419. I charge only $35 because I have almost no overhead. I'm a health professional only and don't get involved with either doing or watching any sexual behavior, so please don't ask. I've been studying since 1975 and have been a colon therapist since 1984.
Everything starts and stops in the colon! If the sewage is plugged up, how can one live? So many people try to clean the colon by putting more stuff IN, like bulk formers, laxatives (bad news for a bunch of reasons!!), prune juice, etc!!! Silly! The thing is, just put some water in there and wash it out!!! Would you clean a dirty pan that had food stuck to it by putting more food in it and putting it on the stove again? No, of course not!! You'd put water in it and let it soak. You have to do the same thing with your colon. Did you know that there is a description of colon cleansing in the Aquarian Gospel? It talks about letting "the Angel of Water" into the colon using a large gourd!
Maybe you can use that in the page! :-D
Best of all,
Nancy

Subject: my new contact info!!
Dear Home Colonics folks,
Hey, I was doing a search for Colon-a-Sun and found my previous letter on your website! Which reminds me to give you my new contact information! I'd surely appreciate your posting it on the site. I'm now in Coos Bay, Oregon, and about to build an office on the back of my property. People can call me at 541-888-5111 for appointments or coaching. The rest of my description still stands. Thanks so much for your kindness.
I am still into peroxide (Nancy means food grade peroxide here that you buy in the health food store, 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons) in very small amounts (it's powerful, be careful) to increase the effectiveness of cleansing, and I have now added some new information about alkaline water which is very exciting. I use alkaline water at a pH of 9-10 for colonics. This is valuable to help reduce the acid overload we ALL have.
Best of all,
Nancy Adams, LMT, LCT, Ph.D.
